We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teacher to join a supportive and inclusive school community. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a SEN Teacher:
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
* Develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behaviour support plans.
* Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, parents, and external agencies to ensure holistic support for each child.
* Monitor and assess pupils’ progress, maintaining accurate records and reporting regularly to parents and senior staff.
* Foster a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes independence and confidence.
* Participate in regular training and professional development opportunities.
Ideal SEN Teacher:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Experience working with children with SEN in a school setting.
* Strong understanding of a range of special educational needs, including strategies for differentiation and behaviour management.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills as a SEN Teacher.
* A patient, positive, and resilient attitude.
