Project Supervisor
£40,000 – £50,000 in Peterborough. Construo Recruitment is partnering with a well‑established construction business to recruit a Project Supervisor.
Based in Peterborough, this position offers an excellent opportunity to join a respected contractor delivering electrical solutions across major projects, including data centres, universities, and healthcare facilities. You will coordinate both temporary and permanent electrical works across multiple live sites, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a consistently high standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Attend project start‑up meetings and review project specifications
* Coordinate labour, materials, and resources across multiple sites
* Produce and submit regular progress reports
* Monitor project budgets and support purchasing activities
* Track project performance and programme delivery
* Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams
* Ensure materials are ordered and delivered in line with project timelines
* Attend site meetings where required
* Assist with preparing and submitting quotations for new works
Requirements
* Previous experience in a Project Supervisor or Project Management role
* Strong background within the electrical sector
* Excellent organisational and time management skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, changing environment
* Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
* Experience supervising or coordinating site teams
* High attention to detail and strong problem‑solving ability
* Resilient and adaptable to shifting project demands
Desirable
* Knowledge of plumbing, particularly in relation to temporary works
