Occupational Health Advisor
Location: Ilkeston
Contract: Permanent | Part-time (3 days per week)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to oversee an in-house Occupational Health service in Ilkeston, with limited travel to other locations.
This role offers the chance to step into a well-supported environment, while shaping and developing the on-site Occupational Health provision. It’s ideal for a confident, proactive OH professional who enjoys autonomy and building strong working relationships across the business.
The Role
You will deliver a full Occupational Health service, including:
Health surveillance
New starter screening
Supporting physical health, mental health and neurodiversity in the workplace
Safety-critical and driver assessments
Management referrals
Drug and alcohol monitoring
Health promotion
Supporting HSE policy
HAVs assessments
Delivering health and wellbeing initiatives
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Registered Nurse status with a valid NMC PIN
Previous Occupational Health experience covering the above duties
Confidence working independently and managing your own workload
A full UK driving licence
An OH qualification
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
