Freelance Groundworks Supervisor – Long-Term Location: Swindon & surrounding areas Rate: Competitive day rate (DOE) Duration: Long-term contract The Role We are recruiting an experienced Freelance Groundworks Supervisor for a long-term position with a well-established groundworks contractor operating across the Swindon area. The client specialises in commercial and industrial groundworks packages on large-scale projects. This role is ideal for a reliable supervisor seeking consistent, long-term freelance work. Key Responsibilities * Supervising groundworks operatives and subcontractors on site * Managing daily site activities to ensure programme targets are met * Overseeing commercial and industrial groundworks packages including drainage, foundations, concrete works, and externals * Ensuring all works comply with health & safety requirements * Liaising with Site Managers, Project Managers, and other trades * Maintaining quality standards and productivity * Completing daily site paperwork and reports Requirements * Proven experience as a Groundworks Supervisor * Strong background in commercial/industrial groundworks * SSSTS or SMSTS * CSCS Card * First Aid (preferred) * Ability to manage teams and work to programme deadlines * Full UK Driving Licence What’s on Offer * Long-term freelance opportunity * Competitive day rate paid weekly * Ongoing work on commercial and industrial projects * Professional and well-organised contractor How to Apply Apply now with your CV or contact us for further details on this long-term freelance role
