Your new role As the Senior Accountant, you will take responsibility for delivering accurate and timely financial reporting across multiple entities. Your role will include preparing statutory financial statements, completing month-end and year-end processes, managing reconciliations, and ensuring full compliance with UK GAAP, IFRS, and internal play a key part in financial analysis, variance reporting, and supporting senior finance leaders with budgeting and forecasting. You will also oversee cash flow management, monitor working capital, and provide support to the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams to ensure efficient daily role includes managing payroll processes, coordinating audit requirements, completing tax submissions such as VAT and corporation tax, and driving continuous improvement across accounting systems and processes. You will also support ad-hoc finance projects, including system upgrades, integrations, and due diligence exercises. What you'll need to succeed A fully qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent) A minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience in a financial accounting or management accounting role Strong experience in month-end, year-end, and financial reporting Excellent analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail Strong communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders Advanced IT capability, particularly in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Experience using SAP (desirable but not essential) Proven people management or team-leading experience A proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a wider team A commitment to continuous improvement and process optimisation What you'll get in return You will benefit from a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, along with flexible working arrangements.
