Key Responsibilities of KS2 Teacher: Design and teach lively, curriculum-aligned lessons that spark interest and deepen understanding in Key Stage 2 subjects. Motivate pupils to reach their full potential through high expectations and engaging instruction. Monitor learning outcomes and adjust strategies to ensure all pupils make consistent progress. Foster a classroom culture that celebrates diversity, promotes inclusion, and builds self-esteem. Work closely with support staff, families, and school leaders to enhance each child’s learning journey. Uphold clear behaviour expectations while nurturing a respectful and focused learning atmosphere. Requirements of KS2 Teacher: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. Experience working within the classroom teaching in Key Stage 2 (KS2). Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and assessment strategies. Passion for primary education and student progress. Excellent classroom management and communication skills. Ability to create an engaging and supportive learning environment.
