Duties:
Respond promptly to roadside breakdown assistance requests across Cardiff and the surrounding region as a dedicated Roadside Vehicle Technician
Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle issues in various makes and models
Work independently in a fully equipped company van, providing on-the-spot solutions
Ensure vehicles are roadworthy, repaired, and ready to safely continue their journey
Maintain high standards of customer service, especially when assisting distressed clients
Manage your workload methodically and independently, demonstrating organisation and reliability
Comply with shift patterns, typically between 6:00am-12:00pm, with a maximum of 1 in 2 weekends, offering days off during the week if you work on weekends
Candidate Specification:
Qualified at least to IMI/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
Proven mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic skills across a variety of vehicle types, from city cars to 4x4s
Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
Able to work independently and methodically
Friendly, calm, and charismatic personality to represent our client positively
Resilient and able to assist customers in high-pressure or distressing situations
Organisation skills to effectively manage on-road tasks and workload
