Senior Residential Care Worker
Join Outcomes First Group as a Senior Residential Care Worker in Closeburn, Dumfriesshire. Full‑time, permanent, 39 hours per week, 5 days on a 7‑day rota, early and late shifts.
About the role
* Provide person‑centred care to individuals with autism, complex needs and learning difficulties.
* Chaperone occupants to appointments and activities.
* Complete relevant paperwork and administer medication.
* Household tasks and lead, train and develop new and existing support workers.
* Help the deputy manager maintain a skilled and knowledgeable team.
Salary and benefits
Basic salary up to £30,054 per annum, plus sleep‑in payments at £45 per night, on‑call payments, pension scheme, life assurance, and mental health support through “Your Wellbeing Matters”.
Qualifications
* Mandatory: HNC in Social Care or SVQ in Social Services (Children and Young People) – SCQF 7 Level 3, or equivalent.
* Willingness to progress to SVQ Level 4.
* At least two years supervisory experience.
* Passion, patience, resilience, calmness, and a big heart.
Location
Closeburn House – eleven bed registered accommodation, ages 10–16, and Maben House – ten bed registered accommodation, ages 6–16. Both within commuting distance of Dumfries and surrounding towns.
