Responsibilities
* Support medication safety – assist with medication rounds by completing essential controlled drugs verification checks and managing patient access to medication hatches.
* Deliver clinical services – run primary care clinics including phlebotomy, ECGs, smoking cessation reviews, and sexual health screenings.
* Monitor detox patients – work alongside registered nurses to support patients through detoxification by completing regular clinical observations and assessments.
* Assess new arrivals – register patients in reception, take baseline observations, and complete clinical assessment scores to identify immediate health needs.
* Lead public health initiatives – deliver dry blood spot testing (DBST) across the site as part of our blood‑borne virus elimination programme.
* Provide holistic care – support our enhanced primary care unit by delivering personal care and tailored social care packages.
* Conduct outreach – complete welfare checks and wing‑based reviews, bringing healthcare directly to those who need it.
