Head Chef – Gastro Pub
We are currently recruiting for a Head Chef for an established, independently owned Gastro Pub located in a charming Cotswold Village. The venue comprises a number of indoor and outdoor dining and event spaces and serves a quality and not overworked British menu.
The successful candidate for the role will report directly the Group Executive Chef and will be responsible for all aspects of the kitchen operation, ensuring the exceptional standards and helping to build on an excellent existing reputation and loyal customer base.
The Person
Previous experience as a Head Chef within busy fresh food pubs and restaurants. You will need to be passionate about working with fresh seasonal produce, utilising ingredients from select suppliers, which will be showcased through regularly changing menus and specials.
An inspiring leader who will mentor, develop and help to retain a medium sized team of Chefs.
Sound financial awareness with experience of ordering and rota writing, menu creation and dish specification. Proficient training in Food Safety, Health & Safety and HACCP.
Availability to work circa 48 hours per week, mixture of shifts.
