Title: Task Force Executive – Former or Current CQC Inspector
Location: Nottingham, Stevenage, or Preston (Nation‑wide travel required)
Salary: £47,500 (increasing to £50,000 upon successful completion of probation)
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Start Date: Immediate – subject to satisfactory DBS check
Responsibilities
 * Conduct quality‑related site visits, including mock inspections and due diligence.
 * Prepare detailed reports and documentation summarising findings, recommendations, and progress toward compliance goals.
 * Provide care‑quality enhancement guidance and practical solutions for under‑performing services.
 * Mentor registered and senior managers, offering coaching and support.
 * Maintain and improve governance and quality systems.
 * Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, clinical staff, and regulatory bodies, to drive continual improvement.
 * Analyse data, documentation, and feedback to identify non‑compliance areas or improvement opportunities.
 * Support interim and turnaround management initiatives for care providers.
 * Prepare action plans and evidence of improvements, coordinating with ICBs, local authorities, and CQC.
About You
You are a highly organised professional capable of assessing current practices and delivering improvement strategies efficiently. You excel in communication, both verbal and written, and thrive in fast‑paced environments while working independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Requirements
 * Minimum 2–3 years of recent CQC inspector experience (previous or current).
 * Deep knowledge of CQC regulations, standards, and inspection processes.
 * Strong analytical skills, able to interpret data and identify trends.
 * Independent and collaborative working style.
 * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to engage stakeholders at all levels.
 * Proven ability to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives across health and social care providers.
 * Own vehicle with full UK driving licence.
 * Willingness to travel nationally and stay overnight.
 * Enhanced DBS registration with rolling update system.
