Facilities: The practice is located in a village setting on the edge of Norwich in Norfolk. Norwich is a vibrant city with good links to both the countryside and beautiful Norfolk coastline, as well as relatively easy access to Cambridge and London. The surgery is purpose-built with a large reception area and 4 consulting rooms. There is a dedicated theatre; a separate diagnostics room with digital radiography, dental x-ray, and ultrasound; and a large prep room with a dental area. A window in prep allows for easy viewing directly into the cattery to help with monitoring patients and the kennels and isolation suite are nearby.
Team : They are a friendly, supportive team of 5 experienced Veterinary Surgeons, 5 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 2 Student Veterinary Nurses, a Dispenser, 4 Receptionists, and a Practice Manager, many of whom have worked there for a long time.
Role: They are looking for a well-rounded and keen small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join the single-site practice. The ideal candidate will enjoy consulting and working up cases and value developing good client relationships. You will have confidence in general surgery and medicine, and a willingness to continue building on these skills with support from our experienced team.
Hours: The full-time rota for this position would be working 40 hours over the choice of 4 or 5 days between the hours of 8.30 am- 7.30pm, but they are also happy to speak with candidates looking for part time hours or flexible working arrangements. You will also be included in a share of 1 in 5 Saturday mornings with half a day off the previous week and no out-of-hours.
Salary : Up to £65,000 depending on experience
