Contract: Full-time, Long-term (via Hays Education)

Your Role: Shape Progress Every DayIn this rewarding SEN teaching role, you will:
1. Deliver high‑quality, personalised learning for pupils with a range of SEN needs.
2. Use strong EYFS curriculum knowledge to plan developmentally appropriate, engaging lessons.
3. Create a calm, structured, autism‑supportive environment, drawing on approaches such as the SPELL framework.
4. Adapt the curriculum to meet individual needs, interests and EHCP targets.
5. Work closely with a skilled multi‑disciplinary team — therapists, psychologists, SEN specialists and support staff.
6. Build strong, supportive relationships with families and external professionals.
7. Lead your classroom with confidence, taking responsibility for planning, behaviour, staff management and organisation.

What We’re Looking For
You’ll be a great fit if you have:
8. QTS – absolutely essential (ECTs with strong SEN experience will be considered)
9. Strong knowledge of EYFS and early childhood development
10. SEN expertise and a solid understanding of how additional needs impact learning
11. Experience — or a real passion — for supporting autistic pupils
12. A calm, reflective and solution‑focused approach
13. Confident classroom management and excellent organisational skills
14. The ability to collaborate within a supportive team of experienced professionals
15. Strong IT skills for assessment, planning and reporting
