About The Role:
We’re expanding our Technology & Transformation practice and are looking for an experienced Java Developer to help design and deliver innovative, secure, cloud‑native solutions for our clients across multiple industries.
🔧 What you’ll be doing
* Designing, developing and maintaining high‑quality Java applications
* Building and securing RESTful APIs using Spring Boot / Spring MVC
* Collaborating in cross‑functional agile teams to deliver client solutions end‑to‑end
* Contributing to architecture and system design, including non‑functional requirements
* Supporting live services, troubleshooting production issues, and improving observability
* Mentoring engineers and contributing to the wider engineering community
🛠️ What we’re looking for
* Strong hands‑on experience with Java (JVM languages such as Kotlin or Scala welcome)
* Solid knowledge of OOP, SOLID principles and design patterns
* Experience with Spring Framework, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
* Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP)
* Confidence communicating complex technical topics to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
⭐ Nice to have
* Kafka, SQS, Serverless (Lambda)
* Monitoring & logging tools (ELK, Dynatrace, Splunk)
* JPA / Hibernate, Swagger / OpenAPI, automated testing tools
* Experience delivering projects from backlog through to production
