We are seeking a confident and adaptable Cover Supervisor to join a secondary school team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in gaining classroom experience, supporting teaching and learning, and helping students succeed. Beginning September 2025. Duties as a Cover Supervisor: Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers. Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials and ensure students remain on task. Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies. Provide support for students’ learning and wellbeing. Assist with general school duties when not covering lessons. Ideal Cover Supervisor: Experience working with young people (school-based experience desirable). Strong communication and organisational skills as a Cover Supervisor. Confidence in managing groups of students. Ability to adapt quickly and use initiative. A positive, professional, and reliable approach. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing.
