Senior Welder / Welding Trainer
Antrim | £35,000 - £40,000 | Permanent | Monday - Friday
A well-established manufacturing company in Antrim is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Welder who is looking to move off the tools and step into a leadership and training role.
This position is ideal for a skilled welder who wants to share their expertise, mentor junior welders, and play a key role in developing the next generation of fabricators.
The Role
As Senior Welder / Welding Trainer, you will:
1. Support and mentor welders and fabricators, providing hands-on training and guidance.
2. Ensure weld quality and fabrication standards are consistently met.
3. Deliver coaching on best practices, safe working procedures, and technical skills.
4. Work with supervisors and production teams to identify training needs and skills gaps.
5. Help create a culture of continuous learning and improvement across the workshop.
About You
6. Time-served welder with significant experience in MIG/TIG welding and fabrication.
7. Strong technical knowledge of welding processes, equipment, and quality standards.
8. Excellent communication skills with the ability to coach and develop others.
9. A team player with strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards.
10. Previous mentoring or supervisory experience is desirable but not essential.

12. Monday to Friday role - no weekend shifts.
