GSL Education are looking for confident and adaptable Cover Supervisors (CS) to work across schools in Barnsley. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain valuable classroom experience or progress into a teaching career. Main Duties of Cover Supervisor: Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers. Deliver pre-set lesson materials and ensure students remain on task. Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies. Provide support and guidance to students during lessons. Report any issues or concerns to senior staff. Essential Requirements of Cover Supervisor: Experience working with young people in an educational or similar setting. Confident classroom presence and strong behaviour management skills. Good communication and organisational abilities. Flexible, reliable, and professional approach. A genuine interest in education and supporting students.
