Overview

Join to apply for the Advanced Support Worker - Bank role at Community Integrated Care.

This is a Bank Position with flexible shift patterns. A driving license is beneficial to take the people supported out in their vehicles.

We are recruiting for an Advanced Support Worker to support adults with complex needs and help them lead the best life possible.


Responsibilities

* Support adults with complex needs and promote their choices, wellbeing and independence.
* Spend your whole shift with the person you support, making a positive impact on their life.
* Adapt to different support styles, be a team player, and think outside the box.
* Provide mentoring and share skills and experiences with colleagues.
* Work within a service supporting 3 people in a supported living setting (three flats tailored to individuals).
* Participate in person-centred training, including Positive Behaviour Support, Active Support, Sensory Needs Awareness, Autism Awareness, and medication training, plus additional role-relevant training.


Qualifications

* Level 3 in Social Care is preferred; strong experience in autism, sensory communication, and physical health is advantageous.
* If you do not have a qualification, you will need relevant experience in social care.
* A driving license would be beneficial for this position.


Location and Schedule

The role is based in a service supporting 3 people. Current vacancies include a mix of shifts: 8am-3pm, 3pm-10pm, and nights 10pm-8am. There is also an option to work double shifts (8am-10pm) if preferred.
