We’re looking for an Outsourcing Governance Consultant to join our dynamic Outsourcing and wider Procurement team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record working within a risk and control environment and an understanding of Operational Controls. We seek an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team, part of a larger Outsourcing Team of 58 colleagues across the UK.
Working as part of a pooled resource, you will collaborate with the wider Supplier Relationship Management team and our partners to positively impact customer outcomes while enhancing the control environment.
About the role:
The successful candidate will support Supplier Relationship Managers in ensuring compliance with the ORCM framework. Responsibilities include reviewing supplier testing reports, managing risk events, and overseeing control issues to minimize customer harm. The role involves close collaboration with supplier teams to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring the timely completion of ICARE issues and actions. Additionally, you will present data to relevant committees and support information requests from regulatory bodies. This position is vital for maintaining a robust risk and control environment at Aviva.
Skills and experience required:
* Broad understanding of outsourced supplier landscapes, including customer base, systems, processes, customer journeys, products, and the risk and control landscape.
* A good understanding of risk, compliance, and governance.
* Experience with ICARE & ORCM would be advantageous.
* Ideally, experience in testing controls.
* Motivated, enthusiastic, and interested.
