Your Responsibilities
* Weld and Grind: Work with pipes, rails, and miscellaneous materials to meet our high-quality standards.
* Maintain Workflow: Keep a fast-paced workflow to meet job deadlines efficiently.
* Job Transition: Smoothly transition between various tasks to ensure timely completion.
* Organize Work: Effectively organize completed jobs after welding and grinding.
What You Bring to the Table
Essential Skills
* Experience in pipe fitting or welding.
* Proficiency in MIG welding, especially on pipes.
* Ability to read blueprints and perform industrial welding.
* Knowledge of carbon steel and flux core welding techniques.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
* Familiarity with hand tools, metal finishing, and grinding processes.
* Ability to use grinders, cut, and assemble pipes.

Your Work Environment
Work in a clean and organized manufacturing shop with a schedule of 40-55 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with potential Saturday work as needed. Shifts typically run from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with the possibility of extended hours until 4:30 PM.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, Virginia.
Compensation & Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
