If you're looking for a hands-on role where you can put your mechanical skills to the test, we’re on the hunt for a skilled and safety conscious Powertrain (engine) Dismantler to join our Poole site team, helping to recover, recycle, and prepare powertrain components for resale and refurbishment. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our operation, dismantling key vehicle components such as engines, transmissions, and axles with precision and care. Your work will help us deliver high-quality, environmentally responsible solutions to our customers while keeping the workshop running smoothly. What You’ll Be Doing Safely dismantling powertrain components from salvage vehicles, including engines, subframes, transmissions, differentials, axles, and driveline assemblies. Using hand tools, power tools, and specialist equipment with care to avoid damage. Identifying, sorting, and organising salvageable parts for refurbishment or resale. Maintaining accurate inventory records, both physically and digitally. Conducting quality checks to ensure components meet company and customer standards. Working closely with production teams to ensure efficient operations. Maintaining tools, equipment, and a clean, organised workspace. Following all safety protocols and environmental regulations. Suggesting process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. What We’re Looking For Strong mechanical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
