The Practice Nurse – (this post offers sponsored ANP course) is located in Mitcham and is a part-time/permanent position of 19 hours per week. The successful candidate will be sponsored to complete the Advanced Nurse Practitioner/Prescribing course.
You will work alongside a friendly team of GPs, ANPs, Practice Nurses and ANPs to deliver an exceptional standard of patient care and support.
Key responsibilities
* Basic Practice Nurse duties
* Providing health promotional advice such as Smoking Cessation and Weight loss advice
* Managing the following clinical tasks:
Clinical tasks to be familiar with
* Asthma reviews
* Baby immunisations
* Diabetes
* Cytology
* Chronic diseases
* COOP reviews
* Spirometric tests
* Travel vaccinations
* B12 & other injections
* Care plans for dementia
* Elderly checks
Required qualifications and experience
* Enhanced DBS issued within the last year
* Relevant experience and qualifications
* Registered with NMC with a valid PIN
