We are currently looking for an Engineer Surveyor (Escalators) to join our Sales team on a full-time basis. This is a nationwide role with focus on conducting equipment surveys for Escalator modernisation, full replacement and repair projects.
Key Accountabilities
* Accountable for site visits and surveying the equipment in according to KONE standards, respecting safety rules
* Takes measurements and completes the necessary documentation and pictures requested
* Uploads data from site surveys into CRM
* Updates global database by request and provides reports
* Takes part in client and internal meetings, work groups, related to quality and technical issues, provides technical recommendations, maintains excellent relationships with customers
Professional Requirements
* Previous escalator experience in service, repairs or installation
* NVQ3 in escalators is desirable, but not mandatory
* Technical knowledge on various types/manufacturers of escalators
* Curious attitude towards equipment and environment
* Knowledge of Safety and Maintenance actions (for example: how to access the inner workings of the escalator.)
* Strong customer skills
We are interested to speak to Escalators engineers, who would like to step into the surveying field, work closely with clients and contribute to customer Escalator Modernisation/Replacement/Major repairs solutions.
