Your new role
We're looking for an experienced Plumber (Multi) to join our responsive repairs team, carrying out plumbing maintenance, repairs, and installations in customers' homes. You'll work to high standards, ensuring excellent customer service and compliance with health and safety regulations.
This role involves travel within the locality, and a company van and fuel card will be provided for business use.
Key Responsibilities
* Complete plumbing repairs and maintenance in line with work schedules.
* Install and repair sanitary ware, baths, showers, kitchen sinks, pipework, taps, valves, and domestic appliances.
* Work on vented and unvented hot water systems (HWSS qualification desirable).
* Carry out cold water storage tank maintenance and renewal.
* Undertake basic carpentry, plastering, tiling, decorating, and general maintenance tasks as required.
* Use mobile technology (iPad/PDA) to manage job records and appointments.
* Participate in out-of-hours call-out service when required.
What you'll need to succeed
* NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Plumbing OR at least 5 years' experience in the trade.
* Strong health and safety awareness.
* Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in occupied homes.
* Full UK driving licence (minimum 1 year's experience).
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* CSCS card desirable.
