ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY


We are looking for an experienced Reddit specialist to manage and grow a branded Reddit profile through authentic, non-spam, organic engagement. You must understand subreddit etiquette, karma accumulation, posting strategy, and how to build trust on Reddit without coming across as promotional.


This role requires someone who can participate in relevant subreddits with commenting, upvoting, meaningful discussions and identifying and mapping high value subreddits aligned with brand topics / communities. You need to be familiar with drafting and posting content that reads natively to Reddit culture, does not feel like advertising and adds value to conversations. You need to be able to build credibility and sustainable growth by increasing karma through organic interactions, improving profile trust signals and avoiding bans / spam triggers.


We’re looking for someone that can provide examples of previous Reddit results, community examples or subreddits managed plus a snapshot of accounts you’ve grown (karma or engagement evidence acceptable). Any interested candidates will need to share a brief outline of your Reddit posting strategy, and confirmation that you understand Reddit’s non-promotional rules.


This is a remote, project-based role for approximately 15-20 hours per month, for 6 months (Dec 25-May 26) with potential for long-term collaboration based on performance and campaign needs.


ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


* Weekly engagement schedule (comments, posts, monitoring)
* Subreddit research & approval/ban rules assessment
* Crafting posts/comments in Reddit tone of voice
* Proactive participation in trending threads
* Monitoring sentiment and responding thoughtfully
* Following strict non-spam behaviour guidelines


ABOUT YOU


* Proven Reddit account management experience (brand or personal)
* Understanding of Reddit anti-promo rules & moderator expectations
* Strong written English + Reddit-native communication style
* Experience with karma building
* The ability to navigate Shadowban risks, Automod triggers and Subreddit posting rules
