16.25 hours Monday-Friday 3:00-6:15pm term time only
PCD3 £22,737- £23,114 (per annum pro rata) plus the living wage top up – hourly rate £12.00
Pennine Way is a large Primary School in Carlisle which benefits from the excellent facilities within its location at Harraby Community Campus.
The Governors at Pennine Way Primary School are seeking to appoint a permanent playworker for our After School Club. The role is to assist with the day-to-day running of the After School Club, providing safe, creative and appropriate play activities for the children.
Successful candidates will be passionate about working with children and ideally have some experience working in a school setting.

The right person will:
1. Understand play-based approaches to children’s learning and development.
2. Have knowledge of child protection procedures.
3. Have experience of working with children.
