Day-to-Day
Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and public health engineers to develop accurate and coordinated Revit models.
Translate engineering concepts into detailed BIM models and 2D drawings in line with RIBA Work Stages 1 to 5.
Coordinate MEP systems with architectural layouts and structural elements.
Manage drawing files and adhere to document control protocols.
Input and manage COBie data within MEP models.
Create and modify Revit families and system components as required.
Generate schedules and assist in producing quantity and asset data.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain detailed MEP models and drawings using Revit.
Assist in creating coordinated building services BIM models.
Support engineers and project teams with technical drafting and model updates.
Ensure compliance with project BIM standards and UK industry requirements.
Prepare technical drawings and documentation to support project delivery.
Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure accurate and consistent model information.
Contribute to the development of automation workflows using tools like Dynamo (training provided).
Qualifications
Essential:
Minimum of 2 years' experience using Revit MEP in a building services environment.
Strong understanding of MEP modelling and drafting.
Familiarity with UK BIM workflows and standards.
Experience working on public sector or UK construction projects.
Excellent communication and coordination skills.
Right to work in the UK (British citizen or valid UK work visa).Desirable (training provided):
Knowledge of COBie data structures and implementation for MEP systems.
Experience with coordination tools such as Autodesk Navisworks or Revizto.
Understanding of ISO 19650 and BIM level 2 standards.
