Known for driving the success of iconic events worldwide, we are looking for a Business Development Manager to help build strong partnerships, drive revenue growth, and create lasting relationships that contribute to our continued success.



The Role:

We are looking for a highly connected, results-driven BDM to accelerate CUE’s expansion across sport, music, and live entertainment in the UK and Europe. This remote role requires strong industry relationships, experience working with European rights-holders, and the ability to open doors with clubs, leagues, agencies, promoters, and federations.



In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans, building and maintaining high-value client relationships, and consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets. You will collaborate with internal teams to refine our offerings, stay ahead of industry trends, and position CUE as a leader in fan engagement technology.

Key Responsibilities:

* Expand CUE’s presence across the UK and European sports, music, and live entertainment sectors—particularly Football (EPL, EFL, SPL, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1), Rugby, Cricket, Festivals, Touring, and Sponsorship verticals.
* Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities quickly and accurately.
* Consistently deliver revenue against an annual quota.
* Stay informed on regional market trends, commercial priorities, and competitor activity.
* Collaborate with marketing on expos, conferences, and region-specific campaigns.
* Attend industry events, matches, conferences, and networking functions.
* Use CRM software (HubSpot) to track and manage sales activity.
* Conduct occasional in-person client visits to ensure exceptional service.
* Support the marketing and creative team in developing localised sales collateral.
* Perform other duties as assigned.





Qualifications:

* A minimum of 4 years’ experience in the Sports, Music, or Live Event industry, with deep connections and a strong network in the industry.
* Proven track record in sales and/or client relationship management.
* Proficient and diligent in CRM software (HubSpot).
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Flexible and willing to travel, including occasional nights and weekends.
* Solid understanding of the technological aspect of sports, concerts, and event production.
