This highly respected business delivers a wide range of professional services to a diverse client base across the London property and construction sector and has built an excellent reputation for both client service and employee development.
They are now seeking a Senior Health & Safety/ CDM Consultant to join their growing team of industry experts based in London, operating within a hybrid working environment (2 days per week in the office).
Reporting directly to the Head of Department, the successful candidate will manage a portfolio of clients across the built environment, delivering high-quality Health & Safety and CDM consultancy services across a range of schemes.
The consultancy operates across multiple sectors, with the H&S / CDM team predominantly supporting projects within the retail, leisure, education, residential, industrial and commercial sectors.
This role would suit an ambitious H&S/ CDM professional from either a consultancy or contractor background who is looking for genuine career progression. Key Responsibilities
* Deliver a range of Health & Safety services to ensure compliance across construction projects
* Ensure pre-construction information is prepared, available, and maintained for each project
* Prepare Health & Safety files and Construction Phase Plans where required
* Carry out site inspections and ensure suitable RAMS are in place
* Conduct risk assessments and regular site safety inspections across the project portfolio
* Build and strengthen existing client relationships while supporting new business development
* Liaise with key stakeholders including architects, contractors, developers, designers, and clients, ensuring they remain informed of relevant safety requirements and legislative changes
Requirements
* NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or equivalent)
* Membership of IOSH, APS, IIRSM, or a similar professional body (desirable)
* Strong technical understanding of the 2015 CDM Regulations
* Knowledge of the Building Safety Act and the changes impacting the industry (desirable)
* Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
* A proactive, professional, and client-focused approach
