Technical Project Manager - Glasgow - Financial Services - Onsite
The Role
We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with a background in Financial Services to join the Robert Walters consultancy on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be deployed onsite at JP Morgan, covering an upcoming maternity leave. This role requires strong stakeholder management, agile methodology experience, technical delivery experience, and the ability to operate in a fast‑paced financial services environment.

We have a great opportunity to join a dynamic team to drive technology advancements in the Corporate Oversight & Governance Technology (COGT) organization at JP Morgan, responsible for providing solutions across Compliance, Controls Management, Resiliency, Legal, Regulatory, and Audit.
As the Technical Project Manager for Control Room and Disclosure of Interest, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of solutions across the firm’s compliance ecosystem. You will exhibit strong leadership abilities in project management, with experience in mobilizing cross‑functional teams and delivering solutions. This role will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to plan, organise and execute our solutions, aligning our business, technology and third‑party strategies.
What You’ll Do
* Navigate and communicate across the compliance ecosystem, translating regulatory, technology, and business impacts to stakeholders while ensuring adherence to technology controls and legal/ethical standards
* Execute initiatives aligned to the strategic roadmap, driving delivery against business goals using lean agile methodologies in a fast‑paced, evolving environment
* Lead end‑to‑end project delivery, ensuring initiatives are delivered on time and within budget while proactively identifying, managing, and mitigating risks
* Facilitate cross‑functional collaboration across Software Engineering, UX, and business teams to design and deliver scalable solutions supporting multiple lines of business
* Establish strong stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement, maintaining clear communication, tracking success metrics, and fostering innovation and process efficiency through ongoing evaluation and adaptation
What You Bring
* Strong knowledge of core project management principles
* Experience managing Software Engineering and UX teams
* Proven ability to lead through technical team leads
* Hands‑on experience with Agile methodologies
* Experience in financial services environments
