Quality Engineer – Manufacturing – Oxfordshire
Our client, a leading manufacturing company in Oxfordshire, is looking for a Quality Engineer to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a quality professional to make a real impact in a fast-paced, precision-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implement, maintain, and improve quality management systems in line with industry standards.
* Conduct inspections, audits, and root cause analyses to ensure products meet quality expectations.
* Work closely with production, design, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues.
* Monitor quality data, trends, and performance, providing actionable insights.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean and Six Sigma projects.
* Collaborate with suppliers to ensure materials and components meet required standards.
Candidate Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Quality Engineer, ideally within manufacturing.
* Knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar quality standards.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
* Experience with inspection techniques, statistical process control, and root cause analysis.
* Excellent communication skills and team-working abilities.
* Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification.
