Overview
We’re looking for a motivated and experienced Parts & Retail Manager to lead our busy Parts Departments across both our Sutterton and North Kyme branches in Lincolnshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly, knowledgeable team and play a key role in supporting internal departments and key customer accounts.
Reporting to the Branch & Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for the efficient operation of both Parts Departments, including the showroom and goods-inward areas. You'll lead and develop the existing parts team while ensuring smooth communication with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
Responsibilities
* Oversee daily operations of the Parts & Retail departments
* Manage and support parts team members at both locations
* Drive departmental profitability and performance against targets
* Deliver excellent customer service to both trade and retail clients
* Support the Sales and Service departments with timely parts availability
* Maintain stock control, showroom presentation, and process efficiency
* Foster strong relationships with key customers and suppliers
* Use IT systems for ordering, reporting, and inventory management
Qualifications
* Experience in a similar Parts or Retail Management role
* Strong knowledge of agricultural and groundcare machinery (advantageous)
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* High attention to detail and organisational ability
* Ability to stay calm under pressure and meet deadlines
* A proactive, self-motivated approach with strong IT skills
* Able to work independently and as part of a wider team
Additional Information
* Start Date: ASAP (subject to notice period)
* Location: North Kyme, LN4 4DF and Sutterton, PE20 2ET
* Hours: 8am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday (1hr unpaid lunch). Additional hours as required to include Saturdays and peak times e.g. harvest
* Contract: Permanent, full-time, 42.5 hours per week
* Salary: Competitive, depending on experience, plus a profit related bonus, company vehicle and mobile phone
