About the Role
: This position reports directly to the LTTTSS Programme Manager and is responsible for executing the contracted statement of work, primarily focused on Work Packages C (Design Organisation Services) and D (Supply Chain Management) while also engaging in other areas as necessary. The ideal candidate will have a background in Project and Programme Management plus experience of Engineering Design Organisation Services and Supply Chain Management within the Defence industry. Additional experience such as aircraft operational maintenance and continuing airworthiness management is advantageous but not essential. They will be familiar with Project and Programme Management best practices and should demonstrate proficiency in managing risks, issues and opportunities. They will also possess a solid understanding of contracts, change management processes and schedule management. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Project, is essential.
Position Responsibilities:
1. Work with the Work Package DO Services Lead (Apache Chief Programme Engineer) and Work Package DO Services Lead (Apache Chief of Supply Chain) acting as Control Account Manager.
2. Work with the WP Leads to ensure their contribution to the LTTSS Service adheres to appropriate schedules and deliver Change Management support to improvement activities.
3. Understand and interpret customer needs and out satisfaction of them.
4. Incorporate Programme Management Best Practices (PMBP) into daily operations.
5. Develop a comprehensive understanding of programme processes and working methods.
6. Maintain relationships with internal and external suppliers, as well as our customer base, to support programme delivery to the Front Line.
7. Assist the LTTSS Prog Mgr with additional projects as required to meet programme needs.
8. Oversee multiple stakeholders, projects, and customers simultaneously.
9. Lead cross-functional teams by clearly defining Roles, Accountabilities, and Authorities (RAAs) to maintain accountability.
10. Generate assumptions, exclusions, and dependencies by leveraging cross-functional stakeholders.
11. Negotiate with customers on multiple project parameters, including deliverable definitions and performance objectives (e.g., cost, schedule, quality).
12. Collaborate with a Project Scheduler to develop project plans and define deliverables that meet identified requirements and customer expectations; present them with Programme Reviews.
13. Establish and maintain effective communication and relationships with project and functional organisations, including customer counterparts.
14. Diffuse conflicts or difficult situations to ensure alignment with project objectives.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
22. Experience in stakeholder management.
23. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to listen, assimilate, evaluate, and summarise information effectively.
24. Commercial awareness and ability to work within and comply with Boeing’s commercial processes.
25. Sound knowledge of the project lifecycle, from requirements definition and proposal preparation to negotiation and project implementation through to completion.
26. Demonstrable experience working with UK Ministry of Defence (MOD) platforms.
27. A valid driving licence is required.
Travel:
28. Regional travel will be required to visit AH operational sites.
29. International travel may be required.
