An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at our site in Edinburgh.
We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join our space clean room environment working on some of the most cutting edge technology within the space sector. This is a great opportunity for someone from either a space background or potentially a manufacturing and engineering discipline to join our company with great prospects.
1. Creating most efficient way to make our made to order products.
2. Ensure assembly instruction are generated and implement projects from the engineering team.
3. Generate manufacturing jig and fixture design.
4. Control workloads to ensure production requirements are achieved on time.
5. Using SAP for generation and checking of production routes and procedures.
6. Generating production documentation for assembly procedures, test procedures etc
7. Knowledge of production equipment commissioning and set up.
8. Understand and experience of test software set up and equipment manufacture.
9. Production Engineering Experience – ideally small part assembly or dealt with PCB/Electronics
10. Relevant qualification in a relevant discipline or time served experience
