Are you a passionate Physical Education Teacher who loves getting young people moving, motivated and confident? A welcoming secondary school in Wakefield is looking for an enthusiastic PE specialist to join their team from January.
This is a brilliant opportunity to step into a supportive department where sport, wellbeing and teamwork are genuinely valued. You’ll be teaching PE across Key Stages, inspiring students to enjoy physical activity while building resilience, confidence and a positive mindset.
The role
1. Deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons that motivate all learners
2. Promote teamwork, sportsmanship and healthy lifestyles
3. Work collaboratively with a friendly, supportive staff team
4. Contribute to extracurricular sport where possible
What we’re looking for
5. Qualified PE Teacher (QTS or equivalent)
6. Confident teaching PE across secondary age groups
7. Positive, proactive and passionate about student wellbeing
8. Strong classroom presence and a genuine love for sport

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
