Salary:
Unqualified: £33,349.58 (including sleep-in shifts)
Qualified (Level 3/4): Up to £35,935.36 (including sleep-in shifts)
Working Hours: Shift pattern on rotation

We are on the lookout for passionate Residential Support Workers to join our team in Dorchester. Here, you will be part of a collaborative and supportive environment that values your individuality and professional growth. Our staff are trained in Developmental Trauma and therapeutic parenting, equipping you with the tools to provide the best support possible.
Your Role and Responsibilities
* Provide compassionate care and support to children and young people.
* Promote, safeguard, and protect the welfare of our young residents.
* Establish and maintain positive, trusting relationships.
* Encourage the development of individual interests and skills.
* Work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team.
* Be flexible with your availability, working 7 x 24-hour shifts (including sleep-ins) over a 3-week rotation.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience working with children and young people, with an understanding of the challenges they face.
* Willingness to work towards a Residential Childcare/Families Practitioner Diploma or equivalent.
* A full UK driving license and access to a car for travel.
* Excellent communication and listening skills.
* A positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
* Ability to accept direction and guidance.
* Experience with Emotional Behavioral Disorder, Social/Residential Work, or Youth Work is a plus.
