Role Summary
Multi-skilled Engineer - Nightshift
Salary: £53,906 per year
Hours of work: 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 21:30 to 06:00
Location: Diss

Responsibilities
The role of the Engineer is to carry out all aspects of plant maintenance and repair to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the mills production and intake systems, in order to minimise downtime and deliver business objectives.
* Proactively carry out all aspects of plant maintenance to a planned schedule, seeking solutions where abnormalities occur
* Liaise consistently with the mill team, addressing breakdowns or interruptions to production and dealing promptly with any issues, escalating where necessary
* Drive continuous improvement, reviewing current methodology and opportunities to improve the mills efficiency, safety, quality and performance
* Ensure all relevant maintenance records are accurately recorded to ensure legal compliance and a safe working environment
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, the desired candidate should ideally have a qualification or apprenticeship in both mechanical and electrical fields and be at minimum 17th Edition certified.
* Excellent understanding of working with strict safety and quality control procedures and KPIs
* Knowledge of Star Delta and PLC systems would be beneficial
* Understanding of Safe Isolation process
* Experience of implementing both short term and long-term solutions and projects in an engineering function covering both electrical and mechanical equipment
