What to Expect
* Advise, draft, and negotiate on a wide range of commercial matters, including vehicle sales and distribution, fleet and leasing arrangements, parts and accessories, warranties, advertising, marketing and promotions, sponsorships, partnerships, and consumer protection.
* Manage a busy and varied workload while also contributing to the effective oversight of external legal counsel.
* Build strong communication channels by working directly with teams across the UK and internationally.
* Take ownership of matters where appropriate, while also working under instruction or supervision, and collaborate with colleagues across Legal & Compliance and the wider JLR business to gather input when needed.
* Apply independent, lateral thinking to analyse and challenge business decisions, using strong influencing skills to guide stakeholders.
* Work flexibly across the team’s diverse portfolio, supporting a broad range of activities.
Qualifications
* A recognised Law degree or equivalent legal qualification.
* Experience working within a sales and marketing environment is preferred.
* Strong ability to analyse issues and provide clear, practical legal advice.
* Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to engage and influence at all levels.
* Proven ability to manage a varied workload and deliver high-quality work to tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
