Temporary Head of Finance position
Search are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Finance to lead a finance team for well known organisation in Blackburn. If you have a strong background in financial leadership and are looking for an exciting opportunity to drive financial success, we want to hear from you! This will be a temporary position where you will be working full time or part time around 30-40 hours a week, Monday to Friday fully on-site. The ideal candidate would need to start ASAP so would need to be ideally immediately available.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage the finance department, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
2. Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's growth and profitability.
3. Oversee the preparation of financial statements and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
4. Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
5. Manage cash flow, treasury, and investment activities.
6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data and support business objectives.
7. Lead the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors.
8. Drive process improvements and efficiency initiatives within the finance department.
