Our client who have been providing their services for over 100 years are currently recruiting for an experienced Finance Assistant to join their friendly team on a permanent basis from their offices based in Cheltenham.
With a strong reputation for their client focused services they are looking for a reliable individual with experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You must have previous experience working within an accounts environment.
Responsibilities
* Reconciliation of bank
* Posting all purchase and sale invoices
* Posting all bank expenditure and banking
* Reconciliation and submission of bank account
* Posting and review of sales and purchase ledger
* Reconciliation of control accounts
* Accruals and prepayments
* Monthly/quarterly management accounts
Candidate Attributes;
* Previous accounts experience
* Methodical approach with a strong attention to detail
* Ability to work well on your own initiative
* Excellent customer service skills
* Strong MS Excel skills
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5pm (4 days per week also considered)
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum depending on experience
