SRG have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Process Chemist at a global name in the Chemicals industry. This is a 12-month role with possibility for extension or to go long term.
Are you an experienced Process Chemist looking to take the next step in your career? This company is seeking a talented Senior Process Chemist to join their dynamic team and contribute to the development and optimisation of cutting-edge manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
* Lead the planning and execution of laboratory work to create and refine new and improved manufacturing processes.
* Leverage expert process chemistry knowledge to guide the preparation and execution of development plans, ensuring they meet the agreed targets.
* Act as a key problem-solver, proactively advising and supporting manufacturing and development personnel in resolving process issues and identifying opportunities for improvement.
* Apply physico-chemical concepts to drive process optimisation and innovation.
Qualifications
* Significant experience in process development chemistry, including critical data analysis, scale-up, and manufacturing support.
* Comprehensive knowledge and practical experience in laboratory and analytical work.
* Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex situations and generate original solutions.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to tailor information to diverse audiences.
* A proven track record of building and maintaining internal and external networks, contributing constructively to team success.
* A continuous learning mindset and a willingness to share knowledge in an open environment.
* Ability to establish trust and work effectively within a team.
* Candidates with a PhD are preferred but equivalent experience will also be considered.
