As a finance professional working towards recognised qualifications, you'll be crucial in keeping us on course, monitoring the financial climate, and working to keep us steady whatever the weather.
As part of the Futures fleet, you'll work collaboratively, using your technical skills, and your communication abilities will shine as you navigate the business, gaining respect from all levels of our fleet and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work with the management accountant to close down the ledgers and prepare accruals and prepayments, assist with monthly management accounts reports and consolidation processes at month-end and year-end.
* Liaise with external and internal auditors, resolve queries, and implement process improvements.
* Provide commentary on actual to budget and forecast variances at regular monthly intervals. Prepare detailed budget monitoring reports and hold meetings with key budget holders during budget preparation and throughout the financial year.
