The Role
As Home Manager, you will be responsible for the overall day-to-day management of the home, ensuring residents receive safe, high-quality care while maintaining full compliance with regulatory standards. You will lead and support the staff team, build positive relationships with residents and families, and help create a welcoming environment where people feel respected, valued, and cared for.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the daily running of the care home
* Ensure high standards of person-centred care are consistently delivered
* Maintain compliance with CQC regulations and company policies
* Lead, motivate, and develop the staff team
* Manage staffing, recruitment, and rota planning
* Support resident wellbeing and family engagement
* Monitor care plans, safeguarding, and health & safety practices
* Manage budgets and occupancy where required
* Promote a positive culture within the home
About You
Essential
* Previous experience as a Registered Manager within a care home setting
* Strong understanding of CQC standards and safeguarding
* Excellent leadership and communication skills
* Ability to manage teams effectively and confidently
* Passionate about delivering exceptional care
Desirable
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care
* Dementia care experience
* Experience managing budgets and occupancy
