Teaching Personnel is working closely with a welcoming and inclusive school in Durham that is on the lookout for a Level 3 qualified SEND Teaching Assistant. This role involves providing dedicated 1:1 and small group support to pupils with special educational needs.

Your role will include:
Supporting students with a range of SEND needs (such as Autism, ADHD, and SEMH)
Assisting in the delivery of EHCP objectives and tailored support plans
Developing positive, trusting relationships with pupils, colleagues, and families
Celebrating small victories that lead to long-term progress
We’re looking for someone with:
A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
Experience working with SEND pupils, ideally within a school environment
A calm, compassionate attitude and nurturing approach
Strong communication skills, resilience, and a good sense of humour
