Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and deploy highly available and scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS, ensuring adherence to security best practices.
* Architect comprehensive cloud solutions incorporating disaster recovery, fault tolerance, and high availability principles.
* Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to define and implement DevOps methodologies and toolchains.
* Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate infrastructure provisioning and management.
* Establish and maintain robust security controls across all cloud environments, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
* Utilise advanced observability tools to monitor and optimise the performance of production services, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
* Design and optimise CI/CD pipelines using platforms such as GitLab or Jenkins, enabling rapid and reliable software deployments.
* Provide mentorship and technical guidance to DevOps and development teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
