Job Description
As Reward & Benefits Partner, you will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, shaping and delivering reward strategies that directly support business performance. This role goes beyond operational delivery and is about using data, insight, and market intelligence to influence decisions, drive fairness, and strengthen our employee value proposition.
Your key responsibilities include:
* Partner closely with HR and business leaders to translate business priorities into effective reward strategies, providing clear, commercially focused advice on pay, incentives, and benefits.
* Lead core reward activity including salary reviews and bonus cycles, ensuring a robust, data‑led approach to benchmarking, pay decisions, and governance.
* Take ownership of pay structures, job evaluation, and grading frameworks, ensuring consistency and scalability as the organisation evolves.
* Design and enhance incentive schemes that genuinely drive performance, ensuring alignment between reward outcomes and business results.
* Take a lead role in managing and delivering annual benefits renewals, working with providers to drive value, manage cost, and ensure continuity of service across a complex benefits landscape.
* Continuously review and optimise our benefits offering, navigating multiple providers and legacy arrangements where required, to create a more streamlined, competitive and valued employee proposition.
* Use analytics and insight to identify trends, risks, and opportunities across reward, supporting fair and equitable outcomes while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Present clear, meaningful insights to senior stakeholders to inform decision‑making.
Key skills & experience required:
* Strong experience within Reward, Compensation & Benefits, or a Reward Business Partner role, with a track record of operating in a commercially driven environment.
* Confidence working with data, able to translate complex analytics into clear, actionable insights.
* Proven experience managing benefits renewals end‑to‑end, and a comfort operating within a complex benefits environment involving multiple providers, schemes, and legacy arrangements.
* Hands‑on experience managing insured benefits such as private medical, dental, and life assurance, with a strong understanding of policy design, provider management, and cost control.
* Credible and influential, able to challenge and guide senior stakeholders while balancing business needs with fairness and governance.
* Strong understanding of reward frameworks, salary benchmarking, and job evaluation methodologies.
* Experience within a complex or fast‑paced organisation is advantageous, as is familiarity with HR systems and reward analytics tools, alongside an understanding of pay transparency and equity regulations.
* Experience or knowledge of pensions would be beneficial, particularly in supporting broader reward and benefits strategy.
