As these two historical businesses have come together, the one common goal remains, and that is ensuring our people succeed.Reporting to the Process Team Leader, youll play a key role in maintaining, improving and optimising our production assets.
Youll collaborate across engineering and production teams to keep our operation running safely, efficiently and reliably.Key ResponsibilitiesSystem optimisation Work with engineering teams to improve performance, reduce downtime and drive technical improvements.Mechanical & electrical maintenance Diagnose and repair faults using advanced tools and techniques.Safety & compliance Ensure full adherence to LOTO, electrical safety and environmental standards, maintaining detailed CBM records.Infrastructure support Maintain site utilities and electrical distribution systems to ensure reliable operation.Team collaboration Partner with production teams and mentor apprentices, supporting a culture of continuous improvement.Lean practices Support 5S, Kaizen and Autonomous Maintenance initiatives.Condition monitoring Conduct vibration analysis, thermography, ultrasound and other predictive maintenance activities.Experience and Key Attributes:Recognised Mechanical Engineering qualification (HNC/HND, NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent)Experience in a multi - skilled maintenance role within FMCG, manufacturing or industrial environmentsHands - on CBM experienceAdvantageous: certifications in welding, hydraulics, pneumatics or rotating machineryExperience using CMMS systemsStrong mechanical fault - finding skillsFluent English (written & verbal)UK working rightsOur commitment to diversity equity & inclusionWe welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, identities, and experiences - including those of different races, ethnicities, genders, sexual orientations, ages, abilities, religions, and socioeconomic statuses.
