About The Role

Level: 5

Department: Product Development

Location: London

Contract type: Permanent

Quilter Invest is a direct-to-consumer (D2C) investment platform designed to empower individuals starting their investment journey. As part of Quilter, a FTSE-250 wealth management company, Quilter Invest aims to bridge the advice gap by offering digital guidance and seamless investment solutions. The platform supports customers with accessible tools and works with financial advisers to deliver tailored financial planning for long-term prosperity.

As Head of Product at Quilter Invest, you will lead the product strategy and execution for our D2C platform, driving growth, user engagement, and innovation in a dynamic fintech environment. This is a pivotal leadership role reporting directly to the Commercial Director for Quilter Invest and collaborating with engineering, design, marketing, compliance, and commercial teams across the Quilter group.

This role blends strategic vision with hands-on execution, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and user obsession. In UK fintech, a top-tier Head of Product must anticipate market shifts (e.g., sustainable investing, AI-driven personalization) while delivering features that drive adoption and retention.

You will shape a product that influences millions, supported by Quilter's resources and the agility of a startup, with success hinging on seamless user experiences that build trust and loyalty and contribute to retention and AUM growth.

Key Responsibilities

* Define and execute product vision and strategy: Develop a long-term roadmap aligned with Quilter Invest's mission to simplify investing and with Quilter's broader objectives. Conduct market analysis and user research to stay ahead of trends.
* Lead cross-functional teams: Manage product managers and analysts, collaborating with engineering and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality releases on time. Implement agile methodologies and OKRs to measure impact.
* Drive user-centric innovation: Leverage customer insights, A/B testing, analytics, and feedback to improve UX and personalized investment recommendations. Use data science for predictive modelling to resonate with diverse demographics.
* Ensure regulatory compliance and risk management: Integrate FCA requirements, GDPR, and ethical AI considerations into product development; implement robust governance and clear fee structures.
* Monitor performance and optimise: Track metrics such as DAU/MAU, conversion, and AUM growth; use advanced analytics to identify bottlenecks and opportunities, prioritising high-impact areas (e.g., mobile-first features).
* Foster partnerships and ecosystem integration: Collaborate with Quilter's ecosystem and external partners for integrations and strategic alliances to expand offerings and market penetration.

About You

* Expertise in product management tools (e.g., Jira, Figma, Amplitude) and methodologies (agile, lean), with a data-oriented mindset.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, able to influence at executive levels.
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field; MBA or equivalent is advantageous.
