Europlan Group is a leading international engineering and project services company, delivering innovative, safety-driven solutions to the energy and industrial sectors.
We have been appointed as the EPCM (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management) contractor for a state-of-the-art subsea power cable manufacturing facility at the Port of Nigg, in partnership with Japanese multinational company Sumitomo Electric.
This landmark project will deliver critical infrastructure to strengthen renewable energy supply chains and support the UK and Europe’s offshore wind sector for years to come.
We provide accommodation, full onsite support, and rotation flights back to Ireland every second weekend to support a healthy work-life balance.
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing project costs, contracts, and budgets, ensuring the financial success of this high-profile renewable energy project.
You will work closely with the project team, clients, and subcontractors to track costs, prepare reports, and provide accurate financial forecasting while maintaining compliance with regulations and client specifications.
Key Responsibilities
* Meet with clients to understand requirements and align on pricing and feasibility.
* Prepare and manage Bills of Quantities (BoQ) and cost estimates.
* Track material quantities, costs, and project timelines.
* Negotiate labor contracts, schedules, and supplier agreements.
* Monitor subcontractors, safety practices, and construction progress.
* Conduct on-site measurements and daily cost control tracking.
* Issue payment certificates to subcontractors and clients.
* Prepare detailed progress and cost reports for stakeholders.
* Obtain competitive pricing from suppliers to optimize project budgets.
* Ensure compliance with building regulations and industry standards.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally within industrial, data centre, commercial, or residential projects.
* Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Proficient in reviewing architectural drawings and construction plans.
* Skilled in accurate cost calculation and financial forecasting.
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
