Job Description:
Position: Client Accountant
IQ-EQ is part of a leading Investor Services group which combines global expertise with an unwavering focus on client service delivery. We support fund managers, global companies, family offices, and private clients worldwide. The role requires a team player with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines.
Your primary responsibility will be to act as the front office contact for your designated private equity, real estate, credit, or debt fund clients. You will work within a supportive team, managing your tasks proactively and resolving issues as they arise.
Responsibilities include:
* Managing designated Private Equity or Real Estate Clients daily operations
* Reviewing quarterly and annual financial statements and reports
* Collaborating with the Technical & Training Team to ensure compliance with reporting standards such as UK GAAP or IFRS
* Reviewing investor drawdown and distribution calculations for accuracy
* Communicating cash movements between the Fund and Investors effectively
* Overseeing the preparation and monitoring of client deliverables
* Conducting regular client calls to ensure effective communication
* Mentoring and supporting team members
* Understanding and applying the accounting framework per client legal documentation
* Contributing ideas to improve processes and reduce risks
Qualifications and Experience:
* ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified, qualified by experience, or equivalent
* Over 3 years of professional office experience
* Experience reviewing working papers and financial statements
* Strong accounting background and CPD
* Client relationship management and issue resolution skills
* Experience mentoring less experienced team members
